Lawrence S. Barnett, M.D.Board Certified General Orthopaedics

Dr. Lawrence Barnett is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon whose practice focuses on general orthopaedics. His interests include sports related injuries as well as joint arthritis.

Dr. Barnett is an attending physician at St. Joseph Hospital in the City of Orange. He is also a clinical professor at the University of California, Irvine.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and then attended medical school at Stanford School of Medicine. At Stanford, Dr. Barnett was selected to the Alpha Omega alpha honor society. He then completed a surgical internship at Orange County Medical Center and following this, a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Barnett has been involved in community and physician education throughout his career. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Western Orthopaedic Association, and the California Medical Association.
